ActivAid offers versatility and functionality. It utilizes a "1+1=1 system" where the device can be used as a single cane, with both parts transforming into one cane, or as two separate canes, one for each hand. When used separately, the canes can face in the front or backward direction, offering different sensations and adaptability to various physical symptoms. This versatility allows users to switch between shock absorption, stability, flexibility, and changes in hand position and grip, adapting to their surroundings and individual needs.
The handle is designed so that stiff hands do not need to be fully closed and allowing for various hand positions. This flexibility individuals adapts to the user's needs, improves posture, and promotes a more natural gait. The motto for the design is "Back to Yourself."
